Students have the choice of responding to one or both of the briefs: a cause brief and a client brief.

Cause Brief: Partners For Peace
The 2016-2017 cause brief tasks students with "communicating the power of partnerships for global peace". They must convey the importance of working collectively to overcome biases and perceived differences and demonstrate how peace is possible when partners come together. Peace happens when people change the way people think about one another and find a common ground to support a more peaceful future.

Students can submit portfolio work in a variety of disciplines. Submitted work must be the result of a required class assignment and/or course project. Experts from each field, along with advertising professionals, will judge the entries.
