Innovation in Lockdown

In 2021, we introduced the Innovation in Lockdown category to each discipline to address the ingenuity needed to overcome the limitations imposed by the Covid-19 Pandemic. We recognize that although some conditions have improved or changed, we are still facing a global health crisis which has required the creative industry to continue to adapt and navigate numerous challenges.

As such, we are continuing these categories for another season (and hoping that it will be the last).


ELIGIBILITY: January 1, 2021 - March 4, 2022

INFORMATION: Project information is required on all entries. A detailed project description (300 words or less) is not required, but is highly recommended.
NOTE: Innovation categories require a written explanation (500 words or less) of the ingenuity of the methods used to create the work.

MEDIA: Judging and Supporting media can be attached to your entry after your category is selected.

  • Judging Media: The primary material and content that the jury will be judging.
  • Supporting Media: Secondary material and content that the jury may review at their discretion.
  • Reference Media: These images will be used for reference but will not be judged.
